Calls to Action

Jay Ruby is running for Prescott City Council.

He can use your help—ballots drop on October 8 and the last day to drop off your ballot is November 4.

If you want to volunteer during this critical time, contact Feather, 508-948-5060.

They not only encourage postcard writing, but have many other opportunities to gather with like-minded folks to meet candidates and stay engaged. They will welcome you to their online address distribution system. Here is their message:

“To simplify getting addresses, we've partnered with Person-to-Person to make getting addresses self-service.

NEW WRITERS: If you haven’t yet started writing with us on our portal, Postcards For Democracy (PFD), we require a pre-approval step for new writers to get started. If you'd like to be approved, please complete this form. We will respond by email. We are all volunteers and thank you for your patience with our process.

APPROVED WRITERS: If you already have an account you can log in here. If you would like help getting started or have questions about our new postcard distribution system, fill out this form for support and one of us will be in touch.

POSTCARD BEGINNER BOOTCAMP: Get prepared by joining one of our postcarding beginner bootcamps. Learn how to write the best get-out-the-vote (GOTV) Postcards and how to use our Postcards For Democracy postcard portal for accessing addresses and scripts.

Beginner bootcamps are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm ET. Join our October 8th beginner bootcamp.”

The PersonToPerson platform was started by politically engaged programmers to get Democrats elected to the House of Representatives in 2018. We have expanded the mission to broadly help all Democrats. They are aligned with, but not necessarily endorsed by, groups such as Swing LeftIndivisibleSister District, the Democratic Party, and other local progressive groups.
