A coalition of Arizona families and educators, including the Arizona Education Association and Save Our Schools Arizona, has launched a ballot measure to bring accountability and transparency to Arizona’s $1 billion universal ESA voucher program. Full details HERE.

If you’d like to help, volunteer opportunities abound. The petition effort needs petition circulators, as well as neighborhood organizers (aka hub captains), and it needs them right away. Once you sign up HERE, you’ll hear back with training info so you can get started.

Once you take the training, stop by the Yavapai Democratic Party Headquarters, 101 W. Goodwin St., Basement Level, Prescott (the Post Office Bldg. across from the Courthouse Plaza). 928-541-0413. Open M-F 11-3.

Petitions will also be available for sign-out at the following monthly meetings: DWPA, League of Women Voters of Central Yavapai County, Prescott Indivisible and YavDem meetings. Don’t forget the requirement to take the training info mentioned above before you sign anything out.

Maria Lynam is the DWPA liaison – she can be reached through membership@dwpaaz.org or via 2026sosvoucher@gmail.com.

Let’s get education protection on the Arizona ballot!
