Featured speakers - Carole Benedict, U.S. Vets Prescott, and Jessi Hans, executive director of the Coalition for Compassion and Justice, will talk about assisting military veterans and their families through counseling, career development, and providing housing and comprehensive support.

We will also have a brief invocation from Rev. Kathleen Sibley, who spoke at the Lights for Liberty Vigil and hear from Stuart Starky, CD4 candidate for the House of Representatives, and Cathey Rusing, candidate for Prescott City Council.

Bi-monthly drive - This month we are accepting donations for the Asylum Project of St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix. The Prescott Indivisible Immigration Team is working with other social justice organizations as part of the ongoing effort to assist those immigrants who come through Phoenix with limited resources. Phoenix is one of the waystations assisting immigrants in moving on to meet their families in other parts of the US. The need is great, and they request the following:
Travel size hygiene items (especially deodorant!), baby and body wipes in compressible containers; backpacks or sturdy closable bags; shoelaces; small canisters of formula and baby bottles; reusable water containers; diapers; small stuffed animals; Pedialyte/Ensure; adult and children’s socks, underwear, shoes (small adult sizes) and "teenage size" pants, jackets, shirts, socks, undies, shoes (gently used is fine)
If you want to assist in this effort, contact Latinoindivisible@gmail.org
