DWPA Holiday Scholarship Fundraiser Virtual Auction

Due to Covid concerns, our Annual Holiday Dinner had to be cancelled this year.  The auctioned items at the dinner were traditionally our largest source of income for the DWPA Scholarship and the need for 2021 remains.  We hope you will participate in our “Virtual Auction” and that we will sit down to dinner together in 2021.   Read about our Scholarship Program.

Our members, friends and community members have donated a wonderful selection of items for your holiday gifting. There are items that you will want for yourself and events that you can bid on and share with your friends and family.

Hop on now and check out all the offerings. Bidding will not start until 12am on Friday, Nov. 27, so start making your list! Bids will be accepted through midnight, on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
Keep in mind that this on-line auction is replacing our traditional December holiday party, our largest source of funds for scholarships. You are always generous. Please help us make this a success.

Important things to know:

  • HOW DO I ENTER A BID? - You must create your online access account. Create your username and password and fill in additional information so that 32auctions can keep you up to date on the bidding. You must do this to bid on items. Each item has a minimum bid, and subsequent bids must be made in the dollar increments specified. If you really want an item, you have the option to purchase it at the listed "BUY NOW" price.

  • HOW DO I PAY? - The system sends winning bidder notifications which contain a link to the winning bidder's invoice page. Invoices display the items won, the winning bid amounts, the total amount due, and a payment button. Winning bidders can click the payment button to pay through PayPal with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal account. Please don't bid unless you are prepared to pay the invoice at the auction's end.

  • CAN I SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH OTHERS? Absolutely. We hope you tell your friends, neighbors and family about our auction.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I BUY MULTIPLE ITEMS? - You will receive one invoice at the end of the auction.

  • WHY ARE 'BUY NOW' PRICES HIGHER THAN THE FAIR MARKET VALUE? You are paying for the convenience of not having to continually check the website, but most importantly, you are supporting the DWPA Scholarship Fund.

  • ARE NEW ITEMS ADDED DURING THE AUCTION PERIOD? Yes, we will add new items should they become available, so check back often.

  • CAN I DONATE TO DWPA? - Yes! Find that selection, enter the amount you want to donate. A pop-up screen appears, follow the prompts and we'll receive your donation immediately.

  • WHAT IF I MAKE A MISTAKE OR HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE WEBSITE? There is a "Contact Us" option on the website; do that first. If you have additional problems/questions, contact Maria Lynam, maria488@icloud.com or text 928-533-1618. She will get back to you asap.

  • HOW DO I GET MY ITEMS? You will arrange pick up with the individual donors, except for gift certificates. They will be mailed to you or you can them pick up from Maria Lynam.

  • IS SHIPPING INCLUDED? SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED. We recommend that you pick up your item or arrange for your own shipping.
