Meet the recipients of the DWPA Scholarships:  Michelle Howe, Erin Kennedy, Belen Vega and Vanessa Coronado Reyes (DACA) .  They will read their essays, "How I Will Change the World."  Franceny Gardea, the Yavapai Co. Democratic Party liaison for Latinix outreach, will be the keynote speaker.   Get campaign news from Judy Stahl (LD-1 House) and John Lutes (Dist. 1 Board of Supervisors). Our Board Member Nancy Klick will update us on the Voter Values Project, and will be filled in on our community Covid-19 fundraiser and community outreach efforts.

The meeting will be recorded--look for the link on the dwpaaz.org website later on Wed. 

We will also have a 50/50 opportunity drawing--the winner keeps 50% of the ticket sales. They are available for $10 each through ActBlue.You do not have to be present to win, but I encourage you to sign into Zoom so you can watch our "Raffle Queen", Kelsey Wilkes, spin the "wheel of fortune" to select the winner.  Please be as generous as possible when you purchase your tickets. All the funds from these drawings are for our scholarships and the lack of in-person meetings has curtailed the success of this initiative, critical to the DWPA mission. Tickets for the 50/50 drawing must be made by noon on Tuesday, May 26.
